The Training cheekpiece offers positive pressure on the side of the face when using the reins. The reins are connected to the inner ring.
The cheekpiece does not bring in any additional pressures. It does create a very stable mouthpiece.

Functionality
The Training cheekpiece will apply pressure to the horses’ cheeks, the pressure will back-up turning aids. The Rein is connected to the inner Dee shaped ring, this means that there will be no leverage on the mouthpiece or poll pressure created as the inner ring is independent from the rest of the cheekpiece. The cheekpiece will have a quicker application of pressure than a loose ring and a slower release of pressure.
