The Racing Williams is a similar design to the Williams but has the bottom ring included in the middle ring. This inclusion of the bottom ring in the middle ring reduces the amount of poll pressure and leverage the cheekpiece is capable of creating.
The Williams is a very fast acting cheekpiece, pressure comes on very quickly but also releases very quickly.
