The Dee Ring is similar in action to the Eggbutt, it prevents pinching and gives a slightly more solid feel against the cheeks. This prevents the bit from being pulled through the mouth. The release is slower and some slight poll pressure is introduced.

Functionality
The Kimberley Dee will apply pressure to the horses’ cheeks, the pressure will back-up turning aids. The Kimberley Dee has a quicker application of pressure than a loose ring and a slower release of pressure. The Kimberley Dee is very similar to an Eggbutt.
