Hitchcock

The Hitchcock causes the bit to move upwards in the horse’s mouth because the reins are attached to the cheekpieces of the bridle via the pulleys on each bit ring. This is an excellent schooling bit to stop the horse from jerking or leaning on the reins. The Hitchcock can be made with any of the mouthpieces in our Loose Ring range.
