The Medium Ring Gag is stronger than the usual Loose Ring and Eggbutt as the ropes going through the rings create leverage which will exert more pressure through the mouthpiece whilst at the same time introducing more poll pressure.
The Medium Ring Gag will not be quite as strong as the Big Ring Gag, because the smaller rings will create less leverage.

Functionality
A gag is intended to be used with 2 reins. One is connected at rein attachment 1 and the other on rein attachment two which is the rope. Having these 2 rein options regulate when the gag effect takes place. When rein attachment 2 is engaged it will apply quite a bit of pressure on the poll as well as creating slide on the mouthpiece which will create pressure on the horses’ lips as well as leverage on the mouthpiece.
