Watch LessonFulmer Loose Ring
The Fulmer cheekpiece will prevent pinching on the sides of the mouth, and the extended pins above and below the bit, firstly prevent the bit being pulled through the mouth and secondly aid guiding the horse’s head which is great for schooling purposes. The loose rings make the bit less fixed in the mouth which encourages acceptance of the bit, and removes poll pressure.
Bomber would recommend this cheekpiece for schooling and for those horses that drift.
Available in horse and pony size.
Functionality
The Full Cheek pins will apply pressure to the horses’ cheeks, the pressure will back-up turning aids.
The Loose Ring allows for a slow application of pressure and a quick release of pressure.
Keepers can be used with the Fulmer. They are recommend in most cases. The keepers keep the pins parallel to the face, which reduces the chance of them being caught up and causing an accident.
