The Dee shape will prevent pinching of the lips. With the rein on the Dee ring the release is slower and the application of pressure is faster. The Dee Gag is the gag version of the Dee, it is stronger and will create more leverage on the mouthpiece whilst at the same time introducing more poll pressure.
