Most often paired with a solid, ported mouthpiece, the Academic Curb is a cheekpiece made for a specific type of training. The cheekpiece will create poll pressure, leverage on the mouth piece and curb pressure through the curb chain. Pressure will be brought in very quickly and released slowly. It is not paired with a Bradoon. This cheekpiece works best for the well-trained horse and rider.
