The Ultra-Comfy shape is such that it follows the contour of the horse’s tongue. The centre joint has been double locked to ensure that the angle over the tongue remains correct, even when the reins are taken up, it retains the individual lateral aids.

Functionality
The Ultra Comfy Lock Up is double locked so that it cannot fold downwards or backwards, this means that it retains its shape in the horse’s mouth, and it eliminates any nut cracker action. The mouthpiece is also angled on the sides, so that it goes up and over the tongue, this greatly reduces tongue pressure, while not increasing pressure on the bars. Due to its’ shape, it will also fit the horse with a narrow bottom jaw without causing any discomfort.
The Ultra Comfy Lock Up is available in Sweet Iron and Titanium. The Sweet Iron material was chosen as a metal option as it oxidizes. Oxidization encourages salivation and acceptance of the mouthpiece. The Titanium material was designed as an alternative metal option to sweet iron, this metal was specifically chosen due to its hypoallergenic nature. The semi-broken, Ultra Comfy Lock Up, has limited movement.
