The Moulded Preferred Contact is a great mouthpiece for horses that accept tongue pressure and dislike bar pressure. The Preferred Contact spreads pressure over the tongue as the center pad is angled at 45 degrees to sit flat on the tongue. Due to pressure being distributed over the tongue, it softens pressure applied to the bars.

Functionality
The Moulded Preferred Contact offers bar relief by spreading pressure onto the tongue. Pressure applied to the tongue is over a large surface area as the 45 degree angled pad sits flat on the tongue. There are no joints to this mouthpiece, on either side of the pad the linking material is thinner, this makes these parts more susceptible to break/tear if the horse chews them.
The Moulded Material was designed as a non-metal option as sometimes horses prefer non-metal as it is less foreign to their mouths than metal. There is a metal cable run through the mouthpiece to ensure the mouthpiece cannot be bitten in half. The Moulded Material also offers great flexibility.
