The Moulded Mullen is shaped and angled to allow an even distribution of pressure and space for the tongue when the contact is taken up. Good for horses that object to metal mouth pieces.
Bomber recommends the Moulded Mullen for the sensitive, fussy mouth or where there is bar damage. It is designed to give an accepted spread of tongue pressure with minimal bar pressure.

Functionality
The Moulded Mullen offers bar relief by spreading pressure onto the tongue, tongue pressure is relived as the center on the mouthpiece is flattened at a 45 degree angle. The tongue pressure is further relieved when the mouthpiece is actively in use as the flexibility allows the mouthpiece to bend and lift the 45 degree angle in the center. Bar pressure is further softened due to the soft textured Moulded material. The Moulded Material was designed as a non-metal option as sometimes horses prefer non-metal as it is less foreign to their mouths than metal. There is a metal cable running through the centre of the mouthpiece to ensure the mouthpiece cannot be bitten in half. The Moulded Material also offers great flexibility.
