Functionality
The Narrow Tongue Forward Port offers tongue relief by spreading pressure across the bars. Pressure applied to the bars is softened due to the generous curvature of the mouthpiece. The narrower port will give slightly less tongue relief, but it is better suited to horse’s that have a narrow lower jaw. The Narrow Tongue Forward Port is a solid mouthpiece and will not create a squeeze on the bars. The Narrow Tongue Forward Port is available in Sweet Iron and Titanium.
The Titanium material was designed as an alternative metal option to sweet iron, this metal was specifically chosen due to its hypoallergenic nature. The solid, Narrow Tongue Forward Port, has no movement.
The narrow port has been scaled accordingly to ensure accurate fitting over the bars of a horse with a short mouth.
