Narrow Tongue Cherry Roller

The narrow port has been designed for the horse with a narrow jaw, this ensures accurate fitting over the bars and eliminates the rocking movement which occurs when the port is too wide.

The curved port is softer on the bars and slow in applying tongue pressure. The narrow port is also available as a straight mouthpiece which is slightly stronger, this suits a horse with a short mouth.

The Cherry Rollers roll in the horse’s mouth giving him something to play with and reducing the likelihood of the bit being held in the horse’s teeth. They are constructed tightly so there is no chance of pinching. When pulling on the reins, the rollers allow the bit to move along the bars of the horse’s jaws as opposed to rubbing.

Functionality

The Narrow Tongue offers tongue relief by spreading pressure across the bars. Pressure applied to the bars is softened due to the generous curvature of the mouthpiece. The Cherry Rollers will increase pressure applied to the bars as the individual rollers will create pressure points on the bars.  These rollers are movable and reduce the chances of the bit being held in the horses’ teeth. The Narrow Tongue is a solid mouthpiece and will not create a squeeze on the bars. The Narrow Tongue is available in Sweet Iron.

The narrow port has been scaled accordingly to ensure accurate fitting over the bars of a horse with a short mouth.
