Functionality
The Elliptical Ultra Comfy Lock Up creates a pressure point on the tongue due to the center component concentrating pressure on a small surface area. The double-lock on either side of the Elliptical allows the mouthpiece to retain the correct shape in the horses mouth. Pressure descends onto the bars and due to the mouthpiece being a semi-broken mouthpiece, it will hinder creating a squeeze on the bars – the extra piece of metal that has been added prevents the mouthpiece from folding backwards therefore creating little, to no squeeze on the bars. The Ultra Comfy shape, along with the Lock Up will soften bar pressure applied. The Elliptical Ultra Comfy Lock Up is available in Titanium. The Titanium material was designed as an alternative metal option to sweet iron, this metal was specifically chosen due to its hypoallergenic nature. The semi-broken, Elliptical Ultra Comfy Lock Up, has limited movement.
