The Elliptical Dressage spreads pressure over the tongue. The mouthpiece is curved Comfy to soften the bar pressure. The sides and lozenge are ground flat to distribute the pressure evenly over tongue and bars, which together with the offset links further reduces pressure points. Allowing for a more accepted and relaxed contact.

Functionality
The Elliptical Dressage has a slightly shorter lozenge than a Elliptical Dressage Control. The shorter lozenge spreads pressure over a smaller surface area on the tongue as well as increasing squeezing pressure on the bars. The lozenge has also been flattened on the underside to create a greater surface area to which pressure is applied, this will soften tongue pressure. Due to the center component spreading pressure over a smaller surface area, tongue pressure is slightly sharper than an Elliptical Dressage Control. The Elliptical Dressage mouthpiece is also curved comfy, which will further soften pressure on the bars. The Comfy curve was designed to spread pressure that is applied to the bars over a larger surface area, this decreases overall direct bar pressure. The Sweet Iron material was chosen as a metal option as it oxidizes. Oxidization encourages salivation and acceptance of the mouthpiece. The double break, Elliptical Dressage, is a flexible mouthpiece and will take the shape of the horses mouth.
