Bomber’s Elliptical Cable applies pressure on the tongue to bring the head down. The Elliptical applies sharper pressure than the control plate, while the cable offers a “spring-back” action together with the elimination of the links joining the 3 pieces which further reduces pressure in all areas, making this softer than conventional Ellipticals.
Bomber recommends this when the horse is operating well with a 3 piece bit as this option further reduces pressure points of the links and offers quick release due to the spring back action.

Functionality
The Elliptical Cable applies similar tongue pressure to a standard Elliptical. The cable allows all links to be removed, removing any pressure points that are created by linking joints. The cable also allows for a “spring-back” action which reduces the squeeze on bars as folding backwards is hindered. The Sweet Iron material was chosen as a metal option as it oxidizes. Oxidization encourages salivation and acceptance of the mouthpiece. The cable will soften over time and the mouthpiece will take the shape of the horses mouth.

The Bombers Lifetime Guarantee does not extend to include the Elliptical Cable.
