Control Plate Titanium
The Bombers Control Plate is set at 45° to follow the contour of the horses tongue. The plate sits flat on the tongue offering a kind pressure which will bring the head in.
Bomber’s popular mouthpiece recommended over the elliptical, appreciated by horses that accept tongue and some bar pressure.
The Control Plate 45 creates a pressure on the tongue. The plate is angled at 45 degrees to sit flat on the horses tongue, due to the wide center component, pressure is spread over a large surface area. Pressure descends onto the bars and due to the mouthpiece being a double break, it will create a squeeze on the bars – however this squeeze on the bars is less than the squeeze created by a single jointed mouthpiece. The Control Plate is available in Sweet Iron and Titanium. The Sweet Iron material was chosen as a metal option as it oxidizes. Oxidization encourages salivation and acceptance of the mouthpiece. The Titanium material was designed as an alternative metal option to sweet iron, this metal was specifically chosen due to its hypoallergenic nature. The double break, Control Plate 45, is a flexible mouthpiece and will take the shape of the horses mouth.
